What will happen to players on the Web and Facebook platforms — a complete guide of Server Mergers

Hero Wars: Dominion Era is the browser version of the popular RPG, available on hero-wars.com and via Facebook. Player progress is permanently tied to the platform where the account was created.

In August 2026, the developers announced a massive Server Merge — the largest in the game’s history. Originally scheduled for August 16, it was postponed. The new tentative date is August 22.

🎯 Why Servers Are Being Merged

The developers selected groups of older servers with low activity and comparable average player power. The goal is to create a healthy, active game community with strong competition and a developed economy.

However, there is a downside to the merge: the more servers are combined, the tougher the competition for top rankings becomes.

✅ Servers That Are NOT Being Merged

The following 197 servers will remain unchanged:

Veteran servers: 1, 2, 3, 6–23, 25, 27–31

Mid-range: 45, 47, 50, 64, 67, 74, 75, 87, 133, 134, 140, 156, 306 (the only server in the 300+ range that remains untouched)

Newest servers: 498–654

💡 Servers 4 and 5 were previously merged into server 3 and no longer exist as separate active servers.

⚡ What Will Change After the Merge

🏆 Guild Wars
Guild Wars — reset to the qualifying league. Rewards for the last week will be paid out based on final positions. You will receive the reward for the last week multiplied by 4.
💰 Arena Reward Payout
Arena and Grand Arena — full reset. Arena rewards are paid out for 2 weeks based on your arena ranking. However, there is an important nuance: it is NOT your position at the reward hour the day before the merge that counts, but your exact arena position at the moment the merge happens. If you were at rank 100, you will receive the reward for rank 100 multiplied by 14 days (this rule was on last server merge).
🗑️ Battle Logs Deleted
Logs for Clash of Worlds and Guild Raid (including attacks on minions and the Asgard boss) will be permanently deleted. Export your history in advance if you need to keep it.
👤 “One Character” Rule
If you have characters on multiple servers being merged, you can only keep one. The rest will be deleted, but you will be compensated with emeralds equal to all purchases made on the deleted character.
🏰 Guild members
Guild progress is saved. If the Guild Master does not keep their character, leadership will automatically pass to the next member in the hierarchy.
⚔️ Clash of Worlds
The current season continues without changes. To qualify for the next season, guilds will again need to break into the Silver or Gold League of Guild Wars.

🎫 Free Transfer Ticket

Every player on an affected server receives a free transfer ticket (Transfer Ticket). It allows you to:

  • Move your character to any suitable older server not participating in the merge
  • Keep a second character if you have multiple on merging servers

⚠️ After using the ticket, you cannot return to the merging server until the process is complete. The ticket does not appear in your inventory — it is added as a free server change. It has no expiration date.

🔍 Server Rankings in HW Goodwin Script

Before deciding to transfer, it is useful to check the rankings on other servers. The HW Goodwin script provides this opportunity right in the game. While on your own server, you can view any rankings on another server without leaving your account. You can read more about this feature in the release notes for HW Goodwin 5.15.

This new functionality was specifically designed for a comfortable transition to a new server and the ability to pre-analyze the competition.

Viewing all rankings on your current platform (indicated in parentheses) is available for free. This allows you to assess the power of players on any server of your platform and make an informed decision about transferring.
⚡ Accelerated Loading with 💥🔐Ultra
The 💥🔐Ultra subscription unlocks rankings for all 6 platforms and the overall ranking across the entire game. Without a subscription, retrieving data takes 10–90 seconds; with 💥🔐Ultra, it takes 1–2 seconds (data comes from the script servers).

✅ Recommendations for Players

Before the merge:
  • Check the table above — find your server and learn where you will be moved
  • Study the rankings of target servers via the HW Goodwin script
  • Save your battle logs — export your Clash of Worlds and Guild Raid records
  • Decide the fate of duplicates — choose who to keep, or move extras in advance
  • Climb the rankings — the higher your position before the merge, the better the reward
  • Guild Masters — make sure you keep the account that holds the Master title
After the merge:
  • Don’t rush to use the Transfer Ticket — let the new server settle
  • Guilds should immediately focus on reaching the Silver League of Guild Wars

💡 Important: The Web version and the Facebook version remain parts of the same ecosystem. Transferring progress between platforms is still impossible — each account is permanently tied to the platform it was created on.

Bottom line: The server merge is a painful but necessary step to revitalize the game community. It means more active opponents and a healthy economy, but also tougher competition for top positions. Proper preparation turns the merge into an opportunity for a fresh start.
